Looking back at the preliminary task I feel I have learnt many things, mostly using the photoshop software. I believe I am now much more skilled in creating a magazine now then I was at the start and I believe this is emphasised in the vast improvement from my preliminary to my actual magazine. In my preliminary I did not make use of many of the photoshop tools that I could have. I also didn't use many manipulation skills on the font or image to make it more eye-catching I also used a blurry image as my camera skills were not effective. However in my final front cover I used many manipulation skills such as making the font more eye-catching. I also used a more appropriate gradient that was complimentary to the colours present in my magazine. I used a much more clearer image of the model and used the right shot size conventional to the media product. The artist was also posing and looking directly at the camera to make it look more conventional. Overall I feel that there was vast improvement from my preliminary task to my final magazine which I believe was necessary as my preliminary was very basic and unconventional.
